Being a trainee since he was 15 years old is not easy. And Jungkook had almost given up on being a trainee and was about to return to his hometown when Jin- his older brother with “5 years older” changed his mind.
BTS are always famous for their friendship and teamwork. That’s probably because from the very first day of creating the group, they knew how to cherish the members and become a fulcrum for each other whenever someone was bored and wanted to give up. If RM is the reason why Jungkook chose Big Hit, then Jin is the one who made Jungkook stay with BTS.
Jin and Jungkook were born in 1992 and 1997, 5 years old for the gap between the group’s oldest and youngest brother. But the age difference hasn’t stopped the two from showing off their close relationship. Jin really played a big role in this relationship and it was especially Jin who helped Jungkook overcome his difficulties when he was a trainee.
One day in the past, Jungkook went to Seoul when he was just 15 years old to begin his arduous trainee days. And because he was young, it was really hard to live alone in that piece of Seoul. Even though his dreams are big and Jungkook isn’t someone who can’t stand pressure, maybe he gets frustrated at times. Jungkook later confessed to it and how he felt disappointed (with himself).
It was around that time that Jungkook decided to give up being a trainee and return to Busan – his hometown. How lucky that when Jungkook felt the weakest, it was Jin who took his hand. He shows his understanding side to him, takes care of him in different ways and so he didn’t feel alone anymore.
Jin often takes Jungkook with him when he eats out with his family, takes him to visit Seoul and takes good care of him. Therefore, Jungkook overcame that difficulty and proudly entered the entertainment industry in 2013. Looking back now, a world-recognized golden maknae has become pride. Jin’s pride in particular and BTS in general. It was fortunate that that day with his kindness and love for Jungkook, Jin made BTS perfect as it is today.
And right now, even though Jungkook has become strong and can hardly be knocked down by the storms of life, Jin always takes care of Jungkook like a little brother.
